It's the time of the year when your hair tends to give you a freshly electrocuted look, what with the frizz; or turns so limp people wonder if someone just overturned a bowl of noodles on your head. Blame it on the rain, of course. The chemicals that come down with those showers tend to break down the protein that bond the hair shafts, thus causing hair to become dull & limp.
It's easy to keep your mane in great health if you follow some basic hair care rules.
First & foremost stop tying up your hair. It is stressful for the hair especially when it is semidry. Because of the product build up, you tend to get more dandruff at this time & once you open up the hair, you notice this flying around in all directions, making you look a fright! So remember! dry your hair thoroughly & leave it loose after a shampoo & a good many of your problems will be solved.

MORE TIPS MORE AGNES:

If there are one season in the year when your shampoo really matters - it is this, it is this, it is this.
*It is absolutely vital to use the right shampoo & use it in the right way.
*Do wash your hair regularly, with a balancing product that suits your specific needs.
*The shampoo should be gentle enough for daily or frequent use.
*If your scalp tends to feel sticky & greasy, for example, choose a shampoo that gives you a clean feel, besides adding bounce.
*Do condition your hair regularly. Use a dime sized portion of condition & apply it to your locks. Leave on for a few minutes before it rinsing off.
*If you have curly or naturally frizzy hair, your scalp is probably short of moisture. That is why you need to use a leave in conditioner or serum to tame the hair, which can go out of control in this season.
*It is virtually impossible to keep your hair neat & happy in the monsoon without some aid from conditioning products.
*The notorious limp lock look begins always and always, quite literally at the roots. That is why smart woman always think roots first, when restoring bounce.
Here's how you do it:-
Spray on a root lifter or thickening gel before blow drying. Hold spray 6-8 inches away from roots of hair. Rustle a little, shuffle a little & brush. *At this time of the year, you will notice that your hair starts acting up around afternoon, when the humid heat is at its peak. What to do? Quick, rush into the nearest restroom, take some water in your palm, dip your fingers in it & run them through your hair. Voila! Like a freshly watered plant, your hair will feel instantly revitalized & it will show. It really is that simple. *Got extra oily hair? Give it a final rinse with cooled mint tea. Totally refreshing!
